I can't comment on importing/exporting MARC records, but I have imported
from Excel into PastPerfect and it is fairly straight forward. Basically
it just requires matching up your columns in excel to the fields you
would like them imported to in PastPerfect. You do have to use the
official field names, though. For example, on your PastPerfect screen
the field may be labeled "object name" but when importing you have to
enter this as "objname." These field names can be found by running the
field descriptions report for the catalog you are importing into. And
PastPerfect support staff are happy to help walk you through the process
to be sure you are doing it correctly.

Hi,
I would also like to know about any experience with people importing
excel
spreadsheets into PastPerfect.
Thanks.
