Hi Sharon-

Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site, outside of Charleston, Illinois,
sells reproduction shoes (boots and brogans) if you happen to need those
too. I don't know if they would be appropriate for your farm, but this area
of Illinois was settled by upland Southerners.

Here is the link for the shoes: http://www.tlbootsnbrogans.org

And here is the link for the park site: http://www.lincolnlogcabin.org

Hope that helps!

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] 1840s/50s Living History Farm Clothing Repros
Date: Fri, 6 Apr 2007 10:48:16 -0400

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place, or places, to purchase ready made
quality 1840s/50s clothing repros that would be appropriate for a
southeastern farm. Our site is an 1840s/50s yeoman farm on the NC/SC border
outside of Charlotte.
