We have a number of developments planned for 2007, designed to help you in
the care and management of your collections.
New and forthcoming resources include:
* Handling and Use of Collections section – including advice on managing and
using handling collections, together with case studies
* New publications on storage and environmental monitoring for library and
archive collections, produced jointly by MDA and the National Preservation
Office
And look out for new services including:
* Online shop – due to be launched on the Collections Link website during
2007, the shop will initially sell MDA goods and services, with a wider range of
products becoming available during the year.
* National training database – find information about short training courses
and events across a range of collections management disciplines.
So visit Collections Link for yourself and let us know what you think using the
online feedback form to ensure that Collections Link includes all the
information you need in the coming year.
