I would suggest that you talk to my good friends and colleagues, Debra
Long (objects conservator) or Julie Reilly (director), at the Gerald
R. Ford Conservation Center in Omaha, Nebraska. They are very
knowledgable and are in a postion to examine the collections and make
recommendations.
