EDUCATION EVENTS COORDINATOR
Education Department

SUMMARY: Plans, organizes and manages education events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Plans and manages logistics for events including educational
activities, audiovisual, purchasing supplies.

·Books speakers and community groups for events, attends related
internal and external meetings and maintains relationships with other
departments and gallery staff.

·Writes inserts for ASC publications, develops event signage, serves
as liaison between Education and Graphics departments to insure open
lines of communication.

·Designs soft promotional collateral for education events.

·Serves as liaison between vendors and organization staff in arranging
meetings and organizing events.

·Researches, evaluates, negotiates with, establishes, and maintains
relationships with preferred vendors and community businesses and
organizations.

·Researches opportunities to involve diverse audiences, vendors, and
community businesses and organizations in new and existing events.

·Compiles and evaluates data on status of events and participating vendors.

·Follows up with thank you gifts and letters to maintain good vendor
and venue relationships.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four year accredited college
or university.
