I've actually seen people sit down right next to "do not sit" signs and
touch things with "do not touch" signs. I think that's another topic for
discussion - why people ignore these types of signs.
Anyway, we use 100% polyester off white grosgrain ribbon, about an inch wide
either across the arms of chairs or on side chairs it is wrapped up over the
seat and down the back and is sewn together under the seat.
