Please remember that there are a number of corporations that have 
historical (not art) collections. Some house them on-site, while others 
use consultants like the History Factory.

You might also want to think about how you are defining 'collection'. Are 
you including archival collections? Art collections? Artifact collections?

I think it's a great topic. As the director of an association's 
collection, I would be interested to see what the results are.
