Hello,

Your concern is certainly valid.

After many years of having balloons at various functions, we have
stopped having them. Our concern was not so much for the safety of the
artifacts, but for the safety of the children. Little people have been
known to choke on pieces of balloons. We felt that this was enough of a
safety hazzard that we no longer use them in any events.

Sincerely,
Heather

We have had several instances where children were allowed to take
balloons
into the exhibit spaces. We haven't had anything happen yet and the
current
policy is that it's OK for the children to have them, especially since
we
gave them out as part of an activity.
