INTERCOM 2006 Annual Meeting and Conference New Roles and Missions for Museums - CALL FOR PAPERS
2-4 November 2006 - Taipei, Taiwan
Join INTERCOM at its annual conference, which will take a closer look at current challenges museums are facing around the world.
We welcome contributions under the following headings:
1) A new social relevance - human versus economic values
2) Local, regional, and national identity
3) Different types of roles for museums
4) International Activity
5) Addressing these new challenges: what is the role for local/central government?

The conference is organised jointly with Taiwan Council for Cultural Affairs and Chinese Association of Museums in Taipei
