We have actually had quite good results with the ZIG 01 and 005 pens.
Especially if you use tiny dots to make the numbers (run the dots
together to make lines and curves as you need) as opposed to trying to
write conventionally.

Subject: Artifact numbering

Dear list,

I am new to the listserv and this is my third attempt to post a message.
=

So maybe the third time is a charm.

My question concerns artifact numbering. I will be training our site
museum staff next week and would like to have something to offer them
besides a white base coat and a black archival pen. I have searched the
=

internet extensively for a good white archival pen to use on a clear
basecoat, but have been unhappy with my findings. The Zig Opaque Writer
=

writes too thick and runs together. The Galaxy Marker goes on invisible
=

and only turns white as it dries, so if you make a mistake you don't
know=

it until the number is dry. I've revisited the old metal pen nib, white
=

paint scenario and am reminded of why we gave it up when Micron came
along. Has anyone out there found a better solution? If so, any help =

would be greatly appreciated.
