How I wish I could be there. I lived in Boston - and could suggest a few
watering holes -

The Sevens, 77 Charles St. Beer and wine, darts and good Reubens. This
is the pub that Cheers was based on - NOT the tourist trap around the
corner on Beacon. Small.

Harvard Gardens - Cambridge street just around the corner from the
MGH/Charles St T station. Larger - more upmarket, martinis...

Davios - upscale martini type place near Park Plaza and the Public
Garden.

Parish Café - if you are in the Back Bay, just a nice place, with
seating on Boylston (one street parallel from Newbury). GREAT beer and
sandwiches. My fave was the Zuni Roll.

Have one for me!

Subject: I am remiss

After last year's AAM meeting in Indianapolis, I thought we might try to
assemble Museum-L participants again in Boston, at a decent watering
hole.
I think it's nice to have faces to go with the names.

If one of our Boston colleagues can suggest a good venue for an informal
get-together of Museum-L participants, then we can try to pick an
evening to
meet. Bear in mind that there are so many things going on that there
will
not be one mutually-agreed-upon date. We'll just try to accommodate as
many
as we can.

I think it would be fun to meet! Boston people--got any suggestions?
