General Call For Papers — Mid-Atlantic Popular/American Culture Association
— Annual Conference, Baltimore, MD from October 27-29, 2006
This is a general call for papers for the more than 40 session topics
listed below. We welcome proposals on all aspects of American and Popular
culture. To submit a proposal, please send a 150-word abstract (include AV
needs; please note MAPACA supplies carousel projectors/screens and
VCR/monitor) and a brief CV or bio to the appropriate area chair by June
15, 2006. Panels of 3 or 4 presenters, single papers, roundtables, or
alternative formats are encouraged. Sliding scale registration fees apply.
