Of recent museum additions that I have seen, the best one that springs
to mind is the Mark Twain House in CT.

Robert A. M. Stern, Dean of Yale Architecture, was responsible for it.

Congrats on developing a new area! Good luck. Happy Thanksgiving
everyone.

Subject: experience in new museum space

I am doing background research for a museum that will build a major
addition. Interested in many aspects of this problem, in particular I
would like to hear, off line, from people who are currently working in a

newly built museum or addition about how it works for them. Is the new
space suitable, for exhibits, for working in, for the public? Why or
why
not? Who was the architect? I would appreciate having an email
conversation with thoughtful respondents. Thanks, Sacie Lambertson
