Greetings All,

I appreciate Felicia rising to the occasion to supply a reference -- brand new, never before published, newspaper 'review' -- that deals with a graduate thesis topic discussed in recent days.

After having scoured every online tool I can think of and not finding anything research-based, I'll once again congratulate the inquirer on conceiving a novel topic, and encourage other students to explore those areas of the museum profession that have yet to be researched rather than just rehashing already published research. Placing one's self as an anthropologist of the museum experience -- with surveys, interviews, and on-site observation -- can be bolstered with academic reference to related/applicable concepts.

It's a good thing for students to inquire . . . though, as this instant revealed, there are gaps in the study of the museum profession/practice. Let's hope today's students will fill in gaps and become the leaders of the future.

Best wishes,

Jay Heuman
