This position is responsible for the care and management of diverse
museum collections. Duties include surveying and inventorying of
collections, their conservation assessment, the development and
implementation of a comprehensive collection management plan, ensuring
the facilities' historical integrity through the development of
furnishing plans for the historic structures, documenting and
acquisitioning the authenticity of collections, managing the
restoration, exhibition, and cataloging of all artifacts, and other
duties as assigned.
Position offers a full benefit package including paid holidays, annual
and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement pension.
Minimum qualifications include the formal education equivalent of a
bachelor's degree in history, art, or a related field plus two years of
experience in museum exhibit programs, conservation of artifacts, or a
related field.
