The Kruger Collection of miniature furnishings and decorative arts has
added a new virtual exhibition to their website
http://www.unl.edu/krugercollection. The exhibition, Kruger Masterpieces:
Inside & Out, shows some of the Collection's finest examples of miniature
furnishings and features Quicktime virtual reality movies that allow
visitors to rotate the objects 360-degrees to watch drawers slide open and
accessories reveal themselves. I hope you will have time to explore this
unique exhibition. We are still smoothing some wrinkles and trying to
simplify the process, but I'm happy to hear any comments or suggestions.
If you're the curious type, there is a "How We Did It" section under the
On-line Gallery heading. If you'd like to know more about our process or
think your museum could create this type of exhibition, I'd be happy to
answer questions.
Best,
Amber
