A source that I recommend for British and German patch identification is titled "Military Collectibles (An International Directory of International Militaria)" published by Salamander Books Ltd. This book is a little bit hard to find (it's out of print), but it is a wonderful source for information on all kinds of military artifacts and has a huge chapter on metal and cloth insignia. Since it is published and illustrated in Britain" a large portion of the book covers British militaria. On the title page it says "A CIP catalog record for this book is available from the Library of Congress" & "ISBN 0-517-14216-4" this may be usefull in helping to find it. Good Luck!

I am currently trying to track down information on British and Nazi
military patches. The Indiana Historical Society has a few patches of ea=

type, but is currently unaware of what divisions/regiments/armies that th=

patches would have been worn by. I am wondering if anyone here might now=
