I would also recommend the Center of Informal Learning and Schools (CILS) headquartered out of the Exploratorium in San Francisco, Univ. of California-Santa Cruz and King's College-London. I have met with some of their staff and program participants in the past, and if I could afford the cost would gladly take part. You can find their website at http://exploratorium.org/cils.

Hi,I'm posting this for a friend. He's looking for recommendations on interesting ph'd programs in education that focus on informal learning, particularly in environmental education. Thanks,Nic

This holiday season, Cincinnati Museum Center delivers a winter getaway and an annual classic. BAJA'S OCEAN OASIS is a fascinating OMNIMAX®journey into the seas and deserts of two remarkably different, but inextricably linked worlds - Mexico's Sea of Cortés and the Baja California desert. Then, create memories and celebrate the tradition of train travel at HOLIDAY JUNCTION, Museum Center's annual train festival. For information, tickets or to become a member of Cincinnati Museum Center, call (513) 287-7000, (800) 733-2077 or visit www.cincymuseum.org.
