Investment Analyst

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world's finest museums, seeks an Investment Analyst.  This position is a member of the Investment Office team, providing support to senior investment professionals for a broad range of endowment management activities. Responsibilities include working with custodial bank and investment accountants to prepare monthly endowment performance reports, assisting in the preparation of quarterly Investment Committee materials, maintaining various databases of investment information, conducting special projects, and other related duties as required.

Successful candidates will have previous experience in a fast-paced environment with previous experience in investments preferred.  Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven facility with Excel, required.  Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.  Must be well organized with attention to detail, able to juggle multiple tasks, respond to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.  Must have the ability to function well as a team member, be energetic, inquisitive, and have a sense of humor.  High ethical and professional standards are required.  Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Economics.
