CALL FOR PROPOSALS 
Southeast regional curators, artists, and artist collaboratives are
encouraged to submit proposals for Atlanta Contemporary Art Center's
summer 2006 exhibition series Bring it on!

Deadline for entries: 5 pm, December 1, 2005; Notification: February 1,
2006
Application fee: Free to members of the Contemporary; $25 to non-members
(includes a one year membership)

For the exhibition series, Bring it on! Atlanta Contemporary Art Center
is seeking proposals for all, or any part, of the gallery space,
including outdoor areas. All mediums and methods will be considered with
special attention being paid to those who will use the gallery in
innovative or untraditional ways.

Three one week exhibitions during summer 2006 will offer regional
artists an opportunity to exhibit work in any medium, based on any
theme. One week exhibition periods will occur in June, July, and August.

Curators, artists, and artists collectives should prepare a proposal
which includes:

1. A written statement of intent, no more than one-page. 
(If alterations to the gallery space are anticipated, please include
plans for remediation.) 
2. Conceptual drawings or other graphical representation of the proposed
project. 
3. Evidence of past completed work, in the form of JPG, PDF, slides,
prints, etc.
Projects with a performative element must include DVD or VHS
documentation of previous work. 
4. CV or resume. 
5. Artist's statement 
6. Any materials that support the proposal. 
7. $25 application fee (check or postal money order); for members a
photo copy of your membership card. 
Accepted projects will be supported by the Contemporary with a $500
stipend and promotional support.

Notification of acceptance can be expected by February 1, 2006
