Training Officer

Part-time, permanent post. 3 day per week.
Starting salary: 17,000 UKP pro rata.
Based in Cambridge, UK.

MDA (formerly the Museum Documentation Association) is one of the 
UK’s fastest-growing public-sector arts organisations. We provide 
advice, support and training to thousands of museum and heritage 
professionals every year.  

Following an internal re-organisation, we are seeking to recruit a 
proactive, dynamic individual to the post of Training Officer.  

The Training Officer will be responsible for the co-ordination of 
MDA’s training delivery, including a rolling annual Training 
programme, one-off seminars and workshops and liaison with our 
national network of MDA Trainers.  

S/he will be responsible for: 

* Working with the Marketing Officer to communicate the benefits of 
MDA
Training to new and existing customers;  

* Contributing to forward planning to ensure that training services 
are
developed according to the MDA Business Plan 2005-08;  

* Identifying new opportunities and working with the MDA Programmes 
Team
to create new training products.
