Candace,

How true. Many folks are not at work or at their own business and have a right to respond, yet judgements are made to classify or think everyone is in a museum or that the list cannot be looked at while at work. For many of us, it is a part of our job, i.e., where we seek answers to related issues, work with peers, and gain knowledge about museum life and the issues we face.

True, maybe it is the "field" or "career" that brings about such responses (positive and negative),
because we are in interpretation, exhibits and community fields. Thus, responses tend to be subjected against political and government views, and many become "hot headed" when their political, religious or personal views are rubbed the wrong way.

But, again I say * museums are a place of gathering, and that is what we are doing here. Talking about issues that face society and culture, that will or will not be part of future exhibits, debate and dialogue in museums.

Countless times it has been said: if you are not interest in the issue covered under the subject line * use the delete key. ;o)

Okay, every time someone responds in this fashion, I think that if you didn't HAVE TIME why are you responding to say people are wasting time?
I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend or poke the bull but I see this kind of response so often.
