I would like to gather information about historic sites that receive mitigation funds. Int the past the site that I am affiliated with received mitigation funds for several State and Federal projects within the historic district. In some cases I question how decisions were made re: appropriate projects relative to the damage that was done. The State Historic Preservation Office hasn't given me any clear answers about their process of determining appropriate mitigation.

Is there anyone else out there experiencing a similar situation? I will soon enter into another mitigation project due to expansion of airport facilities and want to make sure that my site benefits as much as possible. Thanks.
