Dear colleagues,

I am a graduate student in The George Washington University's Museum
Education Program, and I'm working on a paper this summer for a
digital imaging class. I hope you'll be able to answer a few
questions for me.

I'm looking at digital collections, and I would like to know how
people are actually using the collections. Are they using it in ways
that you thought they would when you began to digitize your
collections? If they are using it in ways you didn't anticipate, how
has that affected your digitizing projects? What kinds of special
programming/activities have you done that are related to the digital
collection? Why did your institution decide to digitize its
collection in the first place?

Thank you very much for any answers or insights you can offer.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Ewing
