Do you particularly need museum collections? Some major universities 
have significant collections that are screened regularly as part of 
their film studies programs. For example see: The Harvard Film 
Archive at Harvard University, Cambridge MA
http://www.harvardfilmarchive.org/collections/index.php

Google "film archive" for others.
