The point is that Indigo's article was posted in direct reference to a discussion on the list, which revolved around the situation with the Smithsonian, sponsorship, and Intelligent Design-- a situation other museums will need to negotiate in future as well, no doubt. I believe both sides of the argument were well-represented during the main discussion; this new article was offered in light of that discussion. Information is necessary for a well-balanced debate and the article did point out some major flaws with ID.

Forgive me if I'm reading your postings incorrectly, I know e-mail is notorious for not handling tone of voice and therefore inferences can be made erroneously. But you sound rather snippy about all this, and as has been pointed out, the moderator saw no problem with Indigo's post.
