Naming opportunities from provide funders for the collections storage areas
as well as for specific storage equipment (such as cabinets or compact
storage units for different collections--fine arts, weapons, costumes,
etc.).

Subject: Raising funds for a collections storage building

Hello,

Cape Fear Museum is in the midst of a pre-feasibility study for a major
fundraising campaign. One of our main goals is a new collections storage
building. We've been told that raising money for storage is not sexy. So
my question is how did any of you who have built a new collections storage
building go about selling the idea to those with the bucks?

Thanks,

Tim
