** Bones may reveal new eating behaviour for T. rex
Dusting off scraps of hadrosaur bones from a museum collection, a UW
undergraduate has found evidence for a previously unrecognized feeding
behaviour for Tyrannosaurus rex.
** Chinasaurus Rex
In the past 20 years, China and Mongolia have become hotbeds for
palaeontologists because of the quality of the dinosaur bones found there,
said Dr. Kristi Curry Rogers, curator of palaeontology at the Science Museum
of Minnesota
** More Fossils News: Fossil of fearsome amphibian uncovered
A geology student on a field trip stumbled across the fossil of an
oversized, salamander-like creature with vicious crocodile-like teeth that
lived about 300 million years ago
** History wins by a long neck
Attaching a colossal head to one of the longest necks in history was the
final arduous step for Chinese palaeontologist Peng Guang-Zhou as he pieced
together the skeleton of a mamenchisaurus at the Melbourne Museum
