I would say definitely yes.  But. Is there some way to include more
health care providers in the mix?  The American Medical Student
Association has, for instance, an entire interest grop and listserv
dedicated to topics related to death and dying, and that is only one
example of the interest that these professionals have in the topic. 
Their interest is not always historical but there is always a subset of
physicians who try to understand current medical issues and challenges
through historical analysis.

funeary
fashion & has taught an undergrad course called "Dressing the Dead".  I
