UMCA produced a technical leaflet on the care of glass plate negatives which
may be useful. You can see this on our website at www.preserveart.org by
clicking on the Technical Leaflets link.

Subject: Preserving glass plate negatives

We have seven emulsion glass plate negatives that are peeling away from
the glass.
Does anyone know if it is possible to restore these negatives or at
least slow down the process of deterioration? Thanks in advance.
