I am responding for Josie Parmer, Gulf Shores Museum. Josie was in an
automobile accident in December and didn't make it. We miss her.
In response to your question, our City policy is probationary period is 6
months, benefits in 30 days.

Subject: Probationary preiods and benefits question
Hello list,
Perhaps you can help me here. We are thinking of
revising our probationary period from 90 days to six
months, and the time that benefits start from 30 days
to 90. Could you please comment on how your
institution does this, or on what you think a fair
period is for the employee and the employer? Thanks.
