Our Board and our Members and our Volunteers regularly keep track of their
hours on projects and we have an "in-kind" column on our budget to show the work
that is donated to us. This is standing operating procedure today with most
not-for-profits as realistically a great deal gets done as in-kind work. If
the volunteer doesn't want to volunteer, than he should stop...but if he is
going to volunteer, then he should keep track of his hours and consider it his
"donation" to the museum.
