Pay a visit to Historic Richmond Town, New York City's only historic village
and museum complex, located on Staten Island.

You can see the historic village on public television this week.

On Wednesday at 10 p.m., the fourth and final episode of "Slavery in
America" will be show on WNET, Channel 13 (check local listings elsewhere).

It was my privilege to work with Director Leslie Farrell, and to help her
and her team scout the locations and make all arrangements.

Scenes were filmed in the Third County Courthouse (1837), the Voorlezer's
House (1695) and the Guyon-Lake-Tysen House (1820), because they represented
the appropriate period architecture, although the incidents did not take
place in New York. In addition, staff from Historic Richmond Town and other
local residents participated in the filming.

I'm sure you will enjoy the program.

Regards.

Janet
