Your e-mail is not defective. Internships without a stipend are quite
common, as anyone who's been on this list for a little while knows. One of the most
frequent pieces of advice which has been doled out regularly to job-seekers
is that they should be willing to accept unpaid internships. What unpaid
interns get is experience, an addition to their resume, and a potential foot in the
door.
