We too are in the process of working on a variety of guidelines and rules
for use when we reopen our museum in a new building in May 2005

One of the things we are proposing is charging a research fee for complex
inquirings or for clients who are unable to visit us due to distance etc.
The following has yet to be approved by our Directors, but what we are
proposing is a fee of $50 CAD per hour of research time as performed by
staff (we have volunteers also but cannot charge for their time). We will
give then the first half hour free, and then if it takes longer to then that
we are to inform the client and get approval before continuing the research.
