10.30        Robert Letcher will open the Conference and introduce Roger
Smedley, Chairman of the Trustees of ss Great Britain, who will welcome
delegates

10.45        Sam Hunt, Chief Executive, and Martin Thomas, Head of
Development, South West Museums, Libraries & Archives Council (SWMLAC) –
‘An Overview of the Changing Landscape’

11.15        Richard Munro, Manager of South West Museums Hub – ‘The Hub
in Action’

11.45        Margaret Lorenz, Chair Cookworthy Museum, Kingsbridge – ‘In
Practice’
12.15        Open Forum – questions and comments on the subjects
discussed and anything concerning Friends Groups

1.00        Ploughman’s Lunch to include a glass of wine or a soft drink

2.15        Adrian Babbidge, Egeria Heritage Consultancy – ‘Governance:
old questions, new ideas and answers’

3.00        Introduction and tour of ss Great Britain led by Matthew
Tanner MA, MPhil, Director and Curator of ss Great Britain

4.15        Conference concludes with a summary and a vote of thanks to
Matthew Tanner, the Curators of ss Great Britain, and Speakers by BAFM
Chairman, Geoffery Williams

4.30        Tea & depart

Facilities for the display of your newsletters, brochures and
publications will be available at ss Great Britain during the Conference.
