Job Opening: Tour Center Coordinator

Glessner House Museum is a small museum located on the near south side of
Chicago that focuses on interpreting architecture, history, and decorative
arts.  The Tour Center Coordinator is responsible for greeting and
assisting customers, coordinating docents, giving tours, and
administrative work.  This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone
seeking experience in a museum setting.

The position is part-time, 20 hours a week.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree, preferably in history, art history, or museums studies
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a group
Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
