The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow, UK is currently closed for
refurbishment and a total redisplay of its exhibitions.
One of the proposals for the new interpretation is to project images directly
onto the surface of artworks, for example to explain perspective.  The
projections will be narrated/subtitled and will be evaluated for accessibility
with a range of audiences.

Has anyone on the list seen a similar technique used elsewhere? We are
interested in finding out how effective this technique is for visitors'
understanding/learning. We are also interested in finding out more about the
conservation issues.
