A colleague and I will be traveling to the SF Bay Area in August for a few
meetings. While we're there we'd like to visit a few museums to see what
kinds of technology (interactive mobile devices, in-gallery computer use,
anything that is designed to improve the visit or give more in-depth
information) folks are using, try it out ourselves, and get a sense of what
is successful in enhancing the visitor experience. We've received a few
recommendations (see below) but are looking for more. Any opportunity to
meet the folks who worked on the technology project would be a major
bonus. Also note that we are willing to drive up to 2 hours outside the
city center for the opportunity to see something great. Thank you for your
input suggestions.

- Asian Art Museum - SF (in-gallery computer use)
- Monterey Bay Aquarium (video signage)
- Tech Museum of Innovation - San Jose
