I incorrectly lumped Jewish women covering their heads in with Christian women
under religious head coverings. Sorry about that. I thought there was a similar
commandment in Jewish law for women to cover their heads like there is in the
New Testament. Thanks for the clarification on it.

I've always wondered about that as well. I get extremely jealous of men who
have better hair than me. (Speaking as a natural blonde with long hair. :)

But this reasoning is similar to why Muslim women wear headscarves as well
right? (Don't have my Koran handy.)

And getting back to the original point, I think there is a distinction between
covering one's head for practical purposes (cleanliness, fashion, etc.) and
religious purposes (modesty or submission to men or recognition of God).
