Hello all,

We are in the process of re-vamping our internship
guidelines. Do any of you have any written policies
regarding interns that you would like to share?

Until now, our internship paperwork was geared toward
what the intern would get out of the experience.

Even though none of our interns are paid, we are
experiencing some problems -- attendance issues,
sub-par work, etc. -- that have prompted us to
reexamine our policies. We would like to be more
explicit about what WE require in an intern, and what
the Museum expects in return for offering hands-on
experience in a professional setting.

We would like to develop some kind of Internship
Manual in the same vein as an Employee Handbook.

Thank you!
Kim Kenney
