The University of Chicago's Oriental Institute is an internationally
recognized research center and museum for studying the archaeological
and textual record of the ancient Near East. The Development Director
leads fundraising programs to meet the current and future financial
goals of the Institute.  Responsibilities include; planning and
implementing fundraising strategies, identifying and soliciting gifts
from prospects, foundations or corporations, and organizing
