I am not sure if this is what you are looking for and really, its more of
a guideline than anything else but the National Park Service has published
it's Museum Handbook online, available at www.cr.nps.gov/museum/ Chapter
13 of Part 1 is entitled "Museum Housekeeping" and Appendix F of the same
section is called "Museum Collections Management Checklist" I scanned both
briefly and they seemed to be a good source. Let me know if it is useful
to you.
