Administrative Assistant

The Georgia Trust seeks motivated, responsible, organized individual to handle 
administrative matters related to daily operations of the house, including record keeping, 
accounting and secretarial support to the director and other staff as needed.  Maintains 
office and postage supplies; sorts and delivers mail; maintains central filing system, 
fundraising and membership records; performs reception functions for office; prepares 
and types all manner of correspondence; maintains office equipment; maintains petty 
cash; processes invoices; maintains accounts payable and receivable.  Three to six years 
administrative experience or associates degree and one to two years related experience 
required.  Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to resolve routine 
problems efficiently and effectively, and advanced software proficiency needed.  Full

Communications and Development Manager

The Georgia Trust sees a communications and development manager to plan and 
implement the marketing and fundraising activities of Hay House as a historic house 
museum.  Develops and implements ongoing public relations program including 
marketing, advertising, media relations, market research and analysis, and event 
planning; writes, edits, and oversees production of a variety of Trust and Hay House 
publications; handles all photography needs; coordinates with community organizations 
to promote campaigns for ongoing and special events.  Cultivates and maintains 
relationships with donors; researches and prepares grant applications; coordinates grants 
and fundraising campaigns with appropriate Trust personnel; and assists in planning 
annual budget for operations.  Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or 
related field and relevant experience in marketing and public relations required.  
Excellent writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills essential.  Knowledge of the 
community and community leaders and experience in nonprofit environment preferable.
