Making Museums Matter

Making Museums Matter, a three-day workshop at the University of Victoria's Dunsmuir Lodge, provides you with a rare opportunity to join other senior museum professionals in a collegial environment to explore such questions and to consider how your answers clarify your museum's role and purpose. Stephen Weil, Senior Scholar Emeritus of the Smithsonian Institution and well-known museum observer and thinker, creates a stimulating framework in which you develop practical (and perceptive) strategies to ensure that your museum matters.
