The last museum that I worked at, automated counters were installed at
entrances (I believe we have had a discussion on those before), data
collected from these were stored on a spreadsheet and maintained over years
as a database.

Subject: attendance records
I am looking for a better way to keep track of visitor stat.'s. Since the
tours are free I can't use receipts to keep track of the visitors. I have
several small historic homes (not on the same property) and the numbers are
currently being kept on a scratch piece of paper and compiled at the end of
each month. If anyone has a simple form they would like to share I would
love to see some. Thank you for you help.
