  Hi Andrew, there is a Mac-OSX 'applications' list, which
  has a membership familiar with most programs available:

  you may consider another sound editor (there seem to be many)
  and Painter by (not sure if it is still in the hands of) Corel is a 
great
  painting application, but is very complicated to use for children.
