It's wonderful to be back on Museum-L after a hiatus of a couple of years!

I wanted to announce that I have started a new art conservation bulletin
board /
discussion group open to anyone who wished to join on yahoo.com.

The yahoo site features the ability to easily upload files, photos, and also
to maintain a directory of members.

I have already posted a good list of conservation and preservation related
web sites in the links folder - resources that should be helpful to many.

The intention in this group is to establish a dialogue between those of us in
the conservation profession, our colleagues in allied professions concerned
with the preservation of artistic and cultural works, and members of the
interested public.

We all have valuable perspectives and knowledge and I have always felt that
an interdisciplinary approach can often bring out the best result in a
discussion or debate.
