Hello--
        Persons concerned with this issue should try to take one of
Kenneth Crewes' daylong workshops.  He is a librarian and a lawyer
specializing in copyright, and gives these programs all over the U.S. The
site (http://www.k-state.edu/academicservices/intprop/disted.htm) lists a
number of publications and Web sites by him and by others that might also
be helpful here.
