To the best of my memory, AAM (I think) publishes a Compensation report of
various museum related postions based on many factors, Museum budget, size,
vistor count/yr, etc.  This is how I researched how much I might make when I
first started job hunting.  If it was not AAM it may have been AASLH or some
similar professional organization.
